In honor of National Suicide Prevention Month, the Stockbridge Area Wellness Coalition is hosting a Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) training at Stockbridge Jr/Sr High School on Tuesday, September 19 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.

This suicide prevention training teaches participants how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. This 1-hour training is free for people 14 years and older.

Who should get trained? Anyone aged 14 and up (due to content), including faith communities, health care staff, first responders, school staff, parents, grandparents, caregivers, and community members.

To register, please visit tinyurl.com/QPR919

If you have any questions or would like more information, please email sarah.wilczynski@trinity-health.org.

If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available. Call or text 988 or chat 988lifeline.org to reach a trained crisis counselor.
